Hebrew Education Director:

Coordinate the teaching of Hebrew classes. Coordinate the community outreach program. Plan and direct Jewish programs designed to promote Hebrew education within the community. Identify and recruit volunteer workers. Train and supervise religious education staff. Develop courses that instruct individuals in reading and writing of Hebrew; the Torah; the Talmud; and Halacha, along with Jewish ethics and history. Order the necessary materials for the program, and handle daily administrative duties.

Requires:

Bachelor’s Degree in any field with a course concentration in Judaic Studies;

Knowledge of Halacha, Jewish ethics; the Talmud;

Fluency in Hebrew
